Today while working at Bent of the River, I saw some warblers too quickly to see any field marks to be able to make a positive ID.There was one, however, that I saw well enough to spot a clear field mark- and that was a yellow rump. When I was just about to leave for the day, I mentioned the bird to a man I was working with. I said that I knew it was a warbler, but all that I could really see was yellow on its... and proceeded to place my hands on my rear. He said, "You mean a Yellow-Rumped Warbler?" Of course that's what I mean!
